The Eye of Providence, the Paleo-Hebrew Door Eye, or the All-Seeing Eye is a symbol showing an eye surrounded by rays of light, usually enclosed by a triangle. Being an important symbol in Freemasonry, it is commonly interpreted as the enlightened few, separated from the base of the pyramid, which represents the rest of human kind.
